Our policies and procedures work in the following way:

1. Adoption candidates contact us by phone or email.

2. We pre-screen adoption candidates in a phone interview.

3. If candidate qualifies, we will set an appointment time to interview in person and show animal at the prospective home with all family members and any other family pets present. Please understand that this appointment does not guarantee a placement, temporary or permanent. This is a necessary process for ensuring the proper match between pet and potential owner. We will need a signed and dated statement with phone number from landlord if you are renting.

4. If the interview is successful and is determined to be a good match, we will leave the pet on a temporary two week trial basis. We will conduct several follow ups during that time to ensure that all is going well and answer any questions that the potential owner may have.

5. At the end of the two week trial, we will schedule another appointment to go back to the candidate's home to evaluate the animal to ensure happiness between the match.
